Real Time Management...

The foodbiz Quality Monitor is a purposely designed interface that gives production or other areas such as laboratories a single unified data collection and corrective actioning system.

Use Quality Monitor for monitoring in real-time if CCP’s are being met and if not either automatically carrying out the required corrective actions or alerting required personnel, effortlessly and, if possible, without supervision or intervention.

Quality monitor is the missing link between measurement, Corrective Action and the reality of producing safe food in a dynamic production environment.

Monitored Food Safety Compliance

Quality Monitor is a bridge between data (eg. Temperatures) drawn directly from the factory floor or another location (such as laboratories, transport vehicles) and preset limits such as CCP’s. The monitor is constantly verifying if those limits are being met and if the limits are exceeded the system either carries out automated actions to instigate corrective actions or alerts the required personnel.
How are Critical Limits determined in CCP Monitor?

Critical limits can be manually entered into the Quality Monitor based on food safety requirements, or as a result of utilising the foodbiz HACCP and Risk System.
How is measurement data provided to the CCP Monitor?

Measurement data can be obtained from an operator entering information at the place of measurement through touch screens, on-line forms, and hand held devices linked to the network, scanned into the network, or through interfacing with data loggers, or other direct outputs such as a PLC’s (programmable logic controllers) available on most of today’s modern machinery.
How do we know if a CCP is breached?

There are many ways of alerting operators, supervisors or management.  If a computer is utilised at the production site then alerts can be automatically flashed onto the computer screen right through to interfacing with other devices such as alarms etc.
What corrective actions can be handled?

Corrective actions can be as simple as sending out emails or SMS through to starting a workflow process to enable multiple actions to be carried out.
How are problems reported?

Once CCP Monitor is activated all interactions with the monitor are being recorded.  Whether it’s exception or other reports, a company can decide what information is applicable and useful to its compliance or process improvement activities.
